On Saturday night of August 20, people said they spotted a UFO fly across sky. They explained that it looked like a very bright yellow object, like a shooting star of some sort. However, witnesses that saw this object in a closer view added that it had blinking lights and had small sparks coming out of this soaring body. Moments later, this flying object disappeared from their sight. About an hour after the passing of this claimed spacecraft, residence in the Winnetka area and nearby neighborhoods felt the ground shake. Residence described the shake as a slow rumble at first, thinking it might just be a small earthquake. But minutes later, the ground vigorously began to move, alarming everyone in the area and neighboring vicinities.
A family of four who experienced the whole phenomenon was interviewed. The family told their experience of this phenomenal night. The father of the family stated,
We were out at the park, stargazing up in the sky. I was looking through our telescope, seeing the stars and searching for something to catch our eyes. Then my daughter suddenly exclaimed that there was a shooting star. I quickly moved the telescope to a position where I would see the star. Once I found it, I followed the shining beauty. But something was off. I saw something that was different about this shooting star. Sparks were exploding from this object. It had red blinking lights, too. I showed it to my wife at first. She said it wasn’t a falling star. My children peeked through the telescope in amusement. My boy suggested that maybe it was a UFO. I thought about it, thinking it might be true. I went to check on it again through the telescope to get another close look, but it was gone.
The mother of the family told what happened next.
We were really amazed by this spacecraft in the sky. We were excited that maybe we actually found a UFO flying through space. But in a blink of an eye, it vanished. My children frowned that the entity up above passed. My husband and I told them it was okay, and that we might see another someday. We just stayed for another hour, enjoying the night, the breeze, and spending time with each other. Suddenly, the ground began to shake. It was a small shake at first. Then maybe about two or three minutes later, the earth shook stronger. And I mean really strong , as if an explosion just occurred near us. The trees began to sway roughly behind us. Our telescope fell and began to tumble around as well. My husband and I hugged our children as we huddled together, staying to the ground as near as possible. The weird thing was that it only lasted about five seconds. We were confused, but happy no one got hurt. After the quake, we made sure that there wasn’t any second wave. Once we felt safe enough to move, decided to pack up to go home.
The following day, police found an area of a crash of an object in the field Winnetka Park that looked somewhat like a meteorite crash. However, there was no meteorite inside of the large indented earth. Instead of a space rock, police said that it was like a mini, metal spaceship, a size of an iPad Pro. Police surrounded the area with the yellow streamer that declared POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS while strictly instructed everyone to move far away from the scene. Scientist quickly came to the scene, ready to carefully examine this strange ship-like item. Soon after, scientists take this item to their lab for further examination. A few days later, the scientist stated that it was just one of their mini ships they have sent out on a previous mission. Rumors said that this was a lie. It was not a ship they sent out into space, but it was rather a vessel containing a message from living things outside of our world, saying that they are watching from afar and not to worry about violence from outside our planet, but within it. Some people believe that this rumor is true, and that these creatures who contacted us sent us a message to stop violence and save the Earth. Others say that the rumor is a joke that someone just brought up to make a commotion. What do you think? Are there creatures outside of Earth? Are they here to help us? Or is everything just a hoax?
